Fabric Over Foam
Series No. 1400
MAJR specializes in providing both custom, die-ct, or standard shapes and sizes for EMI / RFI shielding. The conductive fabric over form is a combination of a nickel copper cover over a foam or neoprene core.
Ideal for indoor use, this is a cost-effective solution for both military and commercial applications.
These metallized fabric gaskets are available in a variety of profiles, including Asymmetrical, C-Fold, P, and D shapes. Customized Fabric Over Foam gasket profiles and fabricated die-cut parts, including I/O shielding for Mil and D-Sub connectors, can be manufactured to meet specific requirements with no (or minimal) set-up cost. Nickel/Copper fabric is a widely used shielding material that can be wrapped over a variety of cores to achieve the ideal compression and attenuation for almost any application. In addition, both a pressure-sensitive adhesive and a conductive adhesive for smaller profiles are available.
Standard Products
MAJR Products’ Conductive Fabric Over Foam — a combination of a metallized, woven nylon cover over a foam core — provides superior EMI/RFI shielding, great compression and is a cost effective solution for many applications.
